Venom has always been one of my favorite Marvel villians. I still vividly remember being introduced to him in the 1990s animated Spider-Man cartoon and just being drawn to such a cool looking character.

I don’t often create large format artwork like this, but I had a spare piece of corrugated board lying around at work and decided to draw on it during my lunch breaks. This piece was a lot of fun and it was cool creating art on this type of surface.

Mottled-white board really holds the ink well, but it was a challenge not resting my hand on the board and crushing it. Drawing on a surface like this definitely requires a more delicate touch.
